My Business Account is a secure and convenient way for business owners (including partners, directors, and officers) to access their CRA account information online. The service allows businesses, or their authorized representatives (through Represent a client), to manage tax-related information seven days a week from anywhere you have access to a computer.

The welcome page is personalized to reflect the accounts and service offerings associated with your client's Business Number. The following is a brief overview of what business owners and their representatives can see and do through My Business Account:

  • file a return electronically;
  • view return status;
  • view account balance and transactions including payments that have been processed to an account;
  • transfer payments within an account (except for Payroll and for GST in Quebec);
  • view dates for payroll remittances; calculate a future balance of an amount owing (Corporation Income Tax); and more.

New in My Business Account

  • More security measures have been implemented in the form of security questions (you need to establish these security questions on your first log-in after October 5, 2009).
  • Quick links to "My Payment" have been added.
  • A registered charity can view the address we have on record.

Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA)

If your client's business is a TFSA issuer, you can:

  • file a return by Internet file transfer;
  • view return status;
  • view address on record; and
  • download rejected TFSA individual records

You can only download TFSA rejected records through My Business Account. To learn more, visit www.cra.gc.ca/tfsa.
